These Easter eggs are easy to paint. Try painting with different materials - watercolor, markers, paper cutouts, paper tape, ink, etc. You may find it helpful to sketch out some ideas and patterns for your eggs before you start painting. Using markers or paints to create colored originals is also a great way to see how your egg design will coordinate together. Use a pencil to lightly sketch the outline of your design on the egg. It's much easier to eliminate any mistakes at this stage! Keep the line nice and light so it doesn't show your colors completely.

You can separate the hollow easter egg with handle and paint them separately. This is ideal when you want to paint half of the egg a different color. Also consider painting the inside of the egg - this is a surprising detail.

If you want to paint it a solid color, I recommend keeping the whole egg. This will mean a neater paint job where the egg joins. After painting the eggs, it is best to use a matte varnish to seal and protect them. I suggest you do a test area first to make sure you don't over-paint!
