Keeping your cigars at the right temperature at all times

 When storing cigars, it is essential to know how to season your new humidor. cigar boxes are boxes used to maintain and preserve the integrity of tobacco or cigars. In such a way that they are able to age in ideal and specified conditions.


This humidor has the ideal temperature and humidity to protect cigars for as long as possible. Here are some things you can do to prepare your new cigar box.

Calibrate the hygrometer
The first thing to do is to generate a source of humidity. To do this, you must open the humidor and place a cloth moistened with distilled water into it. It is important that this cloth does not get soaked. Leave the humidor completely closed on the inner pouch. Repeat this process at least twice every six hours.

You should now soak the humidifying element of the humidor without dripping water. Leave the humidor in the humidor overnight.

Afterwards, you should put a little salt in the vapour cap and wet it with distilled water. Now take the hygrometer and place it next to the preparation in the plastic container. Seal it until the next morning.

Remember that the hygrometer will be perfectly calibrated when it reads 75%.

Humidifying the cigar box
The process of humidifying your humidor requires some care. When doing so, you must avoid exceeding the humidity level. This will save you a few days of waiting for the ideal humidity level to be reached.

If the humidity is exceeded, the wood may warp and damage the humidor.

Use a damp cloth with distilled water to carry out this process. Wipe the inside of the humidor with a damp cloth. Place the humidifier with distilled water inside the closed humidor for three days.

The duration will depend on the temperature. This will allow the water to be absorbed more or less quickly. If you want the humidor to be ready for use as soon as possible, heat the water slightly for faster absorption.

Finally, with the right humidity, you can continue to store your cigars. Now you can enjoy them whenever you want.
